Sports Photography

If you need a sports photographer, I’m the man for the job!  I have prior experience taking sports photographs as a freelance journalist, and also as a Game Blogger for the Ismaili Soccer League here in Calgary.

I am available for many types of sports sessions, including:

  • League games, including taking pictures of the teams after a championship game
  • Sporting events
  • Sports awards ceremonies
  • Team photos
  • Awards recipient sessions, which are sessions that are held on a day after the awards ceremony
    • For example, one one of your players won an award, however you want a separate photo of them taken with their award separate from the official ceremony
    • Another example is if your child won a sporting award, and you’d like a separate photo of them taken with their award after the ceremony had taken place
  • General sports sessions
    • Team practices
    • Team contest entries
    • Photos where people are taking their race cars, motocross bikes, bicycles, or other racing vehicles in non-racing and non-portrait situations
      • The person or group of people cannot be racing each other, just either practicing or going around the race track for fun
      • The person or group of people cannot request only photos of themselves with their vehicles, as this is considered to be portrait photography

At this time, I will be unable to book the following sports events and photo sessions outside of Calgary:

  • daytime team and awards recipient sessions outside of a 3-hour driving radius from Calgary
  • evening team and after-event sessions
  • daytime league games outside of a 3-hour driving radius from Calgary
  • evening league games
  • league games and team and non-event sessions being held outside of Calgary during the winter months
  • sporting events and awards ceremonies being held during the winter months outside of Calgary, if the event or awards ceremony requires me to drive there (please contact me for more information)
  • daytime general sports sessions outside of a 3-hour driving radius from Calgary
